Story

The foundation of Sacred Chaos was the desire to explore the conflict between modern values and traditional culture. The concept was to visually depict this tension through a multifaceted character, whose journey, set against the backdrop of Istanbul, was meant to represent a universal theme of personal identity versus societal expectations.

Script

Creating the screenplay was an evolving process. My goal was to write a script that was engaging and layered, reflecting Natasha’s emotional development as she interacted with Ali. This process taught me that writing is an iterative journey of self-discovery and patience. Each frame ensuring that he visuals complement the flow.

Shoot

The production phase involved shooting in Istanbul, a city that vibrantly reflected the film's thematic elements. The dynamic streets of the city became an extension of Natasha’s inner conflict. Filming on location presented several challenges, especially the language barrier, but it also added authenticity to the visual storytelling.
